When I go fishing, I always take my camera with me in case I catch a big one! There was a swan's nest about 150mtrs away as I slowly fished my stretch of the bank. The male swan decided I had come close enough. Without making a ripple, it came towards me, turn its back on me, then raised it's wings to say "no closer"! It had approached so gently that no ripples broke up his reflection. I love the way it is looking at me over his shoulder.
ABOUT ME I was born on farm in North Yorkshire and have always loved the outdoor life and, from the age of ten, photography.
